(26/10/25) Post Launch and Med System!

Welcome back to this dev log of sorts.

Three weeks ago we launched the system publicly, and it has to be said that both myself and the rest of the game team are extremely pleased with the response we’ve gotten. From the memes, to all the questions, interest in playing / crewing / photography… and even the 3am conversations about character concepts (you know who you are) – we’re thrilled that people are keen on supporting what we’re planning.

Onto some logistics. We’re still awaiting site confirmation – trust me when I say we are pushing hard for it, and as soon as we can confirm the site and date, we will do. Until then, keep eyes peeled on Discord, here and our socials for updates.

In the background, the game team have been hard at working building out some of the systems, rules and mechanics of the game from the concepts we’ve launched with, to rules that we can share. Current things that have been on our hitlist post-launch are firming up the character skills that will be available at character creation, crafting and resource mechanisms, and the medical system – more on that in a moment. We’ve also building out some of the galactic lore; corporations, spacecraft, and technology offerings of the Drift setting, and hope to start sharing that in the coming weeks.
